These pads popped right in with little effort. My standard 35mm pads were pretty worn so doesn’t seem a huge difference but these will soften up with a couple rides and be just right. Some complain about cost I just figure with an attitude like that there isn’t much to protect. Try paying for an extended hospital stay.I just received and installed these today and they fit into the helmet perfectly. I haven't ridden yet with the new cheek pads but fit is subjective to each individual. They are pricey for what they are, but they do seem to be genuine Shoei pieces, so that's just kind of the way it is with this brand.It made a little difference in squeezing the cheeks. But price is honestly high. Anyway afterall it is a quality product that you get.The helmet fits really well now after changing to these thinner pads. Cheaper than getting it locally and without the 3 month waiting period.Solves tight fit issue - but certainly over priced for a piece of die cut foam and plastic snaps. For an expensive helmet, these should be included. I have an extremely narrow face and the factory 35mm parts quashed me like a bug. Seriously Shoei? Just charge more for helmet and include these - it does not make for happy customers.Much more comfortable for those of us with bigger jawlines.They are just SLIGHTLY ill-fitting in that the snaps come undone on their own or with just the slightest pressure.I thought theses were suppose to be direct replacement for my Neo-Tec helmet. The holes don't line up I had to make my own..... They keep coming outGenuine OEM Shoei product. Fit the helmet perfectly and makes the helmet fit my face much better. Highly recommended of you have a XL Shoei Neotec that's too tight in the cheeks. The XL helmets come with 39mm cheek pieces, these 35mm pads make a big difference in comfort with my helmet. No price advantage over the OEM but far easier to find and readily available.I refreshed my Shoei Neotec helmet with a complete inner replacement of the Pads..Not cheap to do, but a lot cheaper than a new Neotec helmet!
